New Orleans Seafood Festival to Rock Fulton Street

Free Festival to benefit the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation

Sep 16, 2008 – The New Orleans Seafood Festival will take place Oct. 3-5, 2008 on Fulton Street in downtown New Orleans.  All proceeds for this event will benefit the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation.

The festival will feature cuisine from many famed, local restaurants.  Those that are scheduled to attend include Barreca’s Restaurant, Mr B’s, Drago’s Seafood Restaurant, Arnaud’s, Galatoire’s Restaurant, Ernest Café, Carnival Brands (Pigeon Catering), Mr. Mudbug/King Creole, Pontchartrain Point Café, ACME Oyster House, Café Giovanni, Carondelet Café, Grand Isle and many more.

The festival is free and open to the public.  Times are as follows:

    Friday, October 3: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
    Saturday, October 4: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
    Sunday, October 5: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Live entertainment will be located on two stages throughout the festival with over 15 bands including the Radiators, Soul Rebels, Rockin’ Dopsie and many more.  The schedule is on the attached information sheet.

The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer greater access to culinary education and arts, while providing support for the health and social welfare of children across the state.  The LHF executes this through community outreach, children’s education, hospitality industry financial assistance and benevolence.
